Free Men's / Boy's Flamenco classes!

Talented artists offer Men's Scholarships in dynamic art of flamenco dance…

Tucson, AZ – Tucson’s own Jason and Mele Martinez, former members of The American Flamenco Repertory Company, will offer FREE flamenco dance classes this summer for men and boys. Jason and Mele Martinez have taught courses at Festival Flamenco Internacional and The National Conservatory of Flamenco and have worked with many of the major flamenco dance companies throughout the United States and beyond. They now co-direct Flamenco del Puelbo Viejo and currently teach out of the Casa Vicente Studio. Dance classes focus on rhythm, coordination, body-movement, and music fundamentals while providing an in-depth understanding of flamenco in its simplest form.

What: Free Flamenco Dance Classes for MEN and BOYS

Where: Casa Vicente Dance Studio, 375 S. Stone Ave., Tucson (behind restaurant/alley access)

When: Summer Session (June 8- August 8, 2009) Mondays and Wednesdays (Intro - 6-7pm,

Technique I - 7-8pm), and Saturdays (Footwork I & II 12-1:30pm)
